Presona announced that the first of its LP 140 CH balers will be delivered to Norsk Gjenvinning A/S, the largest recycling company in Norway. The company operates 26 recycling facilities throughout Norway.
The baler, with channel format 1100 x 1100 and a power pack of 2 x 75 kW can produce up to 50 tons per hour capable of processing cardboard, paper, PET, HDPE, plastic foils, aluminum, household waste and shredded industrial waste with highest efficiency and superior bale quality.
The LP 140 is available in two main versions, the LP 140 CH and the LP 140 DH, both with channel format 1100 x 1100. Available power unit 2 x 55 kW or 2 x 75 kW.
This baler has a combined press force of 210 tons. The hydraulic power unit is designed according to the newest technology using high flow cartridge systems for smooth operation and All you need to do with a baler is handled from the touch screen of the TOMAC - from the daily operation, settings, supervision, troubleshooting, access to complete users manual and spare parts information to extensive maintenance instructions.
The operator can interact with the baler at all times and always has a clear view of what is happening during operation.
The TOMAC also keeps track of processed amounts and production data. Service- and maintenance logs gives the operator valuable information about operational costs, accessibility etc.
To meet the future demands for traceability the baler is equipped with a bale marking unit. Each bale is clearly marked by means of an ink-jet marking system. This system is very reliable and requires a minimum of handling. The unit is placed at the bale outlet and marks every bale with a code in red ink for max visibility.
At Norsk Gjenvinning the bale marker has two print-heads and marks one side of the bale.
