Premier Scrap Processing LLC, an Indianapolis-based provider of torching, scrap metal processing and contract labor services, has changed its name to Premier Scrap Services LLC. The company says the name change better represents its portfolio of services.
“Our new company name better reflects that we have been and will continue to be a leading provider of custom torching solutions and contract labor services,” Premier Scrap Services co-owner Colin Douthit says. “What remains unchanged is our commitment to creating value for the scrap and recycling industries.”
As previously reported by Recycling Today, Douthit and co-owner Adam Helton bought Premier Scrap Services in December 2023 from company founder Mark Imel. Douthit and Helton began their careers as engineers and project managers in the heavy construction industry.
Founded in 2019, Premier Scrap Services provides ferrous and nonferrous torching and scrap metal processing for the scrap metal recycling, industrial and heavy construction industries. The company provides contract labor services for scrap yards, recycling centers, smelting plants and waste sites to augment labor needs by employing general laborers, sorters, cleaners and operators.
As part of the name change, the company has launched a new website.
