Premier Metal Services LLC, based in Solon, Ohio, has announced that Mark Weintraub has joined the company. Weintraub spent more than 20 years in the metals business, including his family’s auto parts and scrap business.
He also worked at Columbia Iron and Metal’s Cleveland facility and was a metals buyer and trader at The Federal Metal Co., a Bedford, Ohio, brass and bronze ingot manufacturer.
Weintraub left the metals industry after obtaining his law degree in 2004 and spent the past eight years practicing law at Thompson Hine LLP, a Cleveland-based law firm.
Weintraub’s focus at Premier Metal Services LLC will encompass all aspects of Premier's business, according to owner Michael Eisner. "I am thrilled to return to the scrap industry where I have so many great friends,” says Weintraub. “I also look forward to contributing to Premier's continued global growth."
