Packaging developer Pregis, Chicago, has expanded its EasyPack on-demand paper systems portfolio with three curbside recyclable products that it will feature at Pack Expo International 2024, taking place in Chicago Nov. 3-6.
The company, which manufactures protective packaging, mailing and bagging and flexible packaging products, says its new additions will support a wide range of in-the-box applications, such as block and brace, cushioning, void fill and wrapping.
Pregis says its on-demand paper portfolio includes Forest Stewardship Council- (FSC-) certified options, ensuring packaging is sourced in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. It adds that each system is engineered to enhance packer productivity with safe, ergonomic designs that require minimal training.
New products include:
- EasyPack Quantum Pro void-fill system, launched earlier this year, which enhances the Quantum platform with bladeless auto-tear technology and increased throughput, ideal for high-volume environments.
- EasyPack Bantam void-fill system, which optimizes the packaging process with a streamlined design and a precise paper-cutting mechanism. Its adjustable head allows quick reorientation and effortless loading, ensuring seamless in-the-box fulfillment, the company says.
- EasyPack GeoTerra auto dispenser, which builds off the manual GeoTerra dispenser and delivers a new automatic model that offers a faster and more efficient solution tailored for high-volume operations. GeoTerra wrappable paper offers light cushioning and interleaving protection, while its aesthetic design enhances the unboxing experience.
“Pregis has strategically invested in expanding our paper systems to further our ability to deliver packaging solutions that integrate efficiency and sustainability,” says Tom Wetsch, chief innovation officer at Pregis. “Our broadened on-demand paper portfolio provides customers the flexibility to optimize packaging operations with curbside recyclable materials that align with their sustainability objectives.”
Pregis says its dual role as a paper converter and equipment manufacturer positions it to ensure seamless integration and reliability across its on-demand systems. Its approach and dedicated technical support ensure customers receive reliable, high-performing products tailored to their operational needs.
Pregis will showcase its products at Booth S-3574 at Pack Expo.
