United Kingdom-based polymer manufacturing consulting firm Prea Ltd. has teamed up with International Environmental Solutions (IES), also based in the U.K., to offer a number of plastics recycling services.
The partnership will focus on buying and selling recycling companies, sourcing toll processing and warehousing services, mergers and joint ventures, trading and sourcing off-spec recycled plastics, recruitment, recycling plant set-ups and upgrading recycling plants and processes.
“Although we globally focus on M&A (mergers & acquisitions), recruitment and technical consultancy in plastics, we were always being asked to provide the aforementioned services from a recycling point of view and now we will be able to offer this service with IES,” says Pravin Mistry, Prea’s CEO.
John Gibbins, IES’ managing director, says the venture will benefit both companies, and that with the geopolitical changes in sourcing and transporting recycled plastics materials, the partners will be able to better fulfil customer requirements.
