PRE schedules annual meeting for November

The Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE) will be holding its annual Plastics Recyclers Europe Annual Meeting 2014 November 20-21 in Brussels.

The two-day event will begin with internal working group meetings, followed by a dinner and tour. The second day of the program will be filled with a range of sessions and panelists that will look at steps to improve sorting and recycling efforts for plastics throughout Europe.

The agenda for the second day will include discussions on the following topics:
•    Marine litter and recycling;
•    Opportunities for the EU industry;
•    The deposit system – A Catalyst for quality and quantity;
•    The key to success in PC regrind material recycling;
•    A converter’s view on the future of plastics recycling;
•    Challenges in scaling recycled content plastic at a global level;

•    Valuable materials for the next generations; and
•    Upcycling – Innovative approach that enables plastic waste for second life.
