The Exel facility uses 100 percent recycled packaging provided by Pratt Industries’ NaturalBox sustainable packaging offering. The company estimates that in 2007 Exel saved 7,222 trees, 2.9 million gallons of water, 1,062 cubic yards of landfill waste and 1.2 million kilowatt hours of electricity.

We are committed to minimizing this impact through recycling efforts and other energy-saving programs throughout our organization,” Mike Brandenstein, vice president of operations for Exel’s automotive business unit says. “We are honored to receive this recognition from Pratt Industries and look forward to continuing our effort to recycle, improve efficiency and reduce consumption.”
