These results compare with sales of $3,111,000 and a net loss of $50,000 in the same period a year ago. Six month sales of $5,897,000 and net profits of $97,000 for the current year compares with sales of $6,795,000 and net profits of $10,000 for the same period a year ago.
The order backlog of $3,096,000 at the end of the second quarter ended April 30, 2002, compares with $3,441,000 at the end of the previous quarter ended January 31, 2002, and $4,186,000 at the end of the second quarter a year ago.
Prab Inc., operating under the Prab Conveyors and Hapman Conveyors divisions, designs and manufactures conveyors, metal scrap reclamation systems and bulk material handling equipment and systems for a wide variety of industrial markets throughout the world.
