PRAB, a Kalamazoo, Mich.-based manufacturer of metal conveying and processing equipment, is promoting its Dualpak briquetter. According to the company, this system processes aluminum, steel, copper, brass, iron and alloy metal chips and turnings into near-solid, dry briquettes. Other features include:
• Up to 98 percent reduction of fluids
• Reduces volume and obtains near-solid briquettes
• Briquettes measure from 2 inches to 5 inches in diameter with uniform length and weight
• Preprocessing options include separators, crushers, shredders and wringers
• Handling equipment may include single-barrel dumpers to fully automated feeders and/or load out systems
