The U.K.-based PPSS Group has launched a new cut resistant clothing line designed for the scrap and recycling industry. All cut resistant garments are made out of 100 percent Cut-Tex PRO and have been tested against European, American and international standards, the company says.
Robert Kaiser, CEO of PPSS Group says, “Using Cut-Tex PRO has helped us to design, develop and manufacture some of the most durable cut resistant clothing out there. Our cut resistant clothing also is machine washable and has achieved excellent results in [our] dimensional stability test and appearance assessment.”
PPSS Group says it has supplied some of the world’s leading flat glass, sheet metal and automotive firms with its high performance PPE. The entire range of PPSS cut resistant clothing is being manufactured at an ISO 9001:2008 quality standard controlled textile manufacturing facility in the EU, to ensure the best possible quality, according to the company.
Recent changes within health and safety regulation and the potential legal consequences of not complying with these strict guidelines have recently led to an increasing demand for such type of PPE, which the PPSS Group says inspired its new line.
The PPSS Group will be exhibiting and demonstrating the entire range of cut resistant clothing at the 2012 GLASSTEC international trade fair from Oct. 23-26 in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The PPSS Group is a U.K.-based company that designs, develops and manufactures cut resistant clothing and body armour.
