PopScrap.com Inc., Middletown, California, has released a specialized online scale ticketing solution designed for scrap yards and recycling centers. The browser-based software is designed to work with all Internet-connected devices, including mobile devices, and can be paired directly with printers using wireless Bluetooth technology.
The company’s BOSS (back office support software) now can create scale tickets. Boss Lite is designed for cash-based scale tickets with no image requirements and specifically addresses the need for easy-to-use software for beverage container buyback in California, while Boss Pro is designed to capture images and track inventory and includes integrated accounting features.
PopScrap.com also has integrated Star WebPRNT by Star Micronics, an app that allows mobile devices to directly connect to printers using wireless Bluetooth technology. PopScrap says it is part of the Star Partner program, allowing the company’s users to print to network, USB and Bluetooth Star printers.
