Poly-Pacific International Inc. has entered into a joint venture agreement with a plastics manufacturing company in China. The joint venture enables Poly-Pacific to establish a processing plant in China to make semi-finished Plastic Blasting Media for shipment to North America.
Thomas Lam, president of Poly-Pacific commented, "The joint venture is a significant addition to the business of Poly-Pacific. The processing plant will enable us to compete more efficiently in the manufacturing and pricing of our PBM and will increase the volume of PBM that we can manufacture."
Poly-Pacific International manufactures and distributes the material for paint stripping and coating removal.
The company hopes to have the facility in China built and operational by this summer. At the present time the company operates two Canadian operations, one in Alberta and one in Ontario.
Poly-Pacific is able to take the waste from their customers and turn it into plastic lumber for the agricultural industry through their wholly owned subsidiary, Everwood Agricultural Products International Inc.
