PMR adds inventory management tool

Catalytic converter processor PMR, with locations in Delray Beach, Florida; Boisbriand, Quebec; and Mississauga, Ontario, has announced an inventory management tool, located in PMR’s Supplier Services platform at http://suppliers.pmrcc.com/login, designed to allow companies to keep track of their converter units by inventorying boxes of their physical on-site material.

To use the tool, a user should create a box in the system, name it and then upload converter photos one by one.

As photos are added to the box, PMR’s grading team can grade the material and count the converters. Grading percent completion as well as box value will be identified on top of a company’s photo inventory, the company says.

Users can access their complete inventory, including total converter count, total value and average price per unit.

The inventory tool offers users a number of additional features, according to PMR:

• securing material and having confidence in true inventory statistics;
• keeping track of real updated market pricing in relation to present and past inventory;
• analyzing inventory progression in real time; and
• knowing what material is on a lot and managing/tracking multilocation inventories.

PMR describes itself as a leading processor of catalytic converters for more than 20 years.
