The latest news on policy and technological developments in the plastics recycling sector will be the focus of programming at the 2016 Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE) Annual Meeting, according to the group. The 2016 PRE Annual Meeting will take place 16-17 June at the The Oitavos Hotel in Cascais, Portugal.
“High-profile speakers will be speaking about innovative products [and] services as well as the challenges and opportunities of the industry,” says Brussels-based PRE.
Among the speakers and panelists scheduled to be part of the PRE roster are Dr. Andreas Kessler of Paris-based Suez Environnement; Julio García Burgués of the European Commission; Michael Baxter of British Polythene Industries Plc (BPI); Simon Widmer of the Ellen Macarthur Foundation; and Elodie Jupin of France-based flooring manufacturer Tarkett.
PRE says the 2016 event in Cascais marks the 20th annual meeting for the group.
