Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. announced that unaudited gross sales for the most recent quarter were $16.7 million, a 58 percent increase over gross sales of $10.6 million in the same period last year. The $16.7 million sales also set a quarterly sales record, surpassing the previous quarterly record of $13.6 million during the first quarter of 2004 by 23 percent.
AERT converts reclaimed plastic and wood fiber waste into outdoor decking systems, door and window components, and exterior trim and fascia components.
AERT operates four manufacturing facilities in Springdale, Ark.; Lowell, Ark.; Junction, Texas; and Alexandria, La.
