The Plastics Industry Association, Washington, has added Danielle Fortunato to its government affairs and advocacy team as the director of state government affairs. She previously spent more than seven years in public service with the New York State Assembly.
“We are excited to add Danielle to our growing advocacy team at Plastics,” says Matt Seaholm, the association’s vice president of government affairs. “Her experience and enthusiasm are going to be integral to delivering our industry’s message across the Northeast. We expect some very busy upcoming legislative sessions, and Danielle is hitting the ground running.”
In her time in the New York State Assembly, Fortunato served as principal legislative analyst in the Assembly Research and Program Development Office. Her legislative portfolio includes work on multiple Assembly Standing Committees, including the Judiciary Committee.
