The Hong Kong-based Ocean Recovery Alliance has scheduled two upcoming Plasticity Forum conferences in the first half of 2019: March 12-14 in Fiji and May 21 in Paris.
Event organizer Doug Woodring says the Fiji event will focus on “plastic pollution solutions for smaller communities or island nations.” Programming for Plasticity Pacific will be at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, Fiji on March 13, with an optional tour of a nearby landfill scheduled for March 12 and additional workshops being planned for March 14.
Says Woodring, “Plasticity Forums are like the ‘Olympics’ of plastic sustainability and circularity, and if you are a stakeholder in this sector, or this region, you will certainly learn some exciting opportunities from this event, and be able to create some new collaborations.”
More information on the event, which is being supported by Coca Cola Fiji and Amatil, can be found in this video clip.
Woodring says additional details will be forthcoming on the Plasticity Forum being planned for Paris on May 21.
