The Georgia Recycling Coalition announced a strategic initiative to increase the amount of PET beverage containers recycled in Georgia.
The initiative will focus on increasing PET recycling through education and grant programs. Applicants must prove they have increased the amount of PET they recycle, or must develop an innovative educational program to help increase PET recycling in their community.
The Georgia Soft Drink Association, Mohawk Industries, Coca-Cola North America, and the National Association for PET Container Recycling all support the initiative.
