The second annual SAPET (South America PET Packaging Markets & Technologies) will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil May 10-12. According to conference managers, the goal of the program is to seek to address many of the top issues for PET packaging markets and resins producers in South America.
Conference organizers expect senior representatives from brand owners, preform manufacturers and converters, PET resin suppliers and additive and machinery providers to be in attendance at the conference.
The conference, titled “Staying Competitive in the PET Packaging Market,” will feature high-level discussions on market trends and technological innovations for the entire value chain, from PET resin and feedstocks movements to preform and bottle markets, processing technologies to developments in Pet recycling efforts.
One of the highlights of the program will be a Brand Owners Roundtable, where Coca-Cola FEMSA and other PET buyers will reveal details on PET packaging trends and requirements to suppliers. Additionally, leading South America converters will lead a Converters’ Roundtable session themed “Staying Competitive in the PET Packaging Market.”
