According to various news reports, the Taiwan-based Far Eastern Group (FEG) has commissioned and built a structure made from 1.5 Million PET bottles in Taipei, Taiwan. The building, being called EcoARK, was commissioned by Far Eastern Group for around $3 million. The company will be used as an exhibition fall during the 2010 Taipei International Flora Expo this coming November. After completion of the expo, FEG will donate the structure.
The building was made entirely in Taiwan by FEG can withstand typhoons, earthquakes and holds seven world records in green construction.
The EcoARK can be taken apart and reassembled at another site after the exposition.
