The company has applied for permission to expand the landfill’s capacity for construction and demolition debris.
According to the report, the proposed expansion would not change the 136.1-acre site’s dimensions, but would increase the disposal area by 21.9 acres. By increasing elevations of material, 4.3 million cubic yards of capacity would be created, and the expansion would extend the life of the landfill by up to nine years.
The DEP has scheduled a public meeting for Dec. 7.
