Wastequip Inc., Cleveland, has announced the opening of a new aftermarket parts business called Parts Place Inc., located in Piedmont, S.C.
The grand opening of the new company, which will sell replacement parts for waste handling and recycling equipment, will be May 19 at 11 a.m.
Parts Place will carry replacement and aftermarket parts of major brands of waste hauling and recycling equipment, including hydraulic cylinders, compactor parts and mobile replacements. Most orders received by 3 p.m. will ship that same day, and the company plans to have online ordering available soon.
Margaret Spradlin Allen has been appointed general manager along with Duane Spradlin as national accounts manager, Jimmy Davis as operations manager, John Beckwith as customer service specialist, Susan Stockton as office manager and Joey Painter in shipping and customer service.
“Parts Place is a logical extension of our commitment to serving our customers throughout North America with all their equipment needs, including replacement and aftermarket parts,” says Robert Rasmussen, president and CEO of Wastequip. “It’s all part of our philosophy of total customer satisfaction.”
