CVB Ecologistics, a Dutch paper recycling firm, has acquired Van Meegdenburg Recycling B.V., based in Ede, Belgium. The deal includes the purchase of land and buildings. As this site is bigger than the site of Wageningen Recycling, it has been decided to concentrate the common activities on the new site in Ede. Wageningen purchased an HBC120 baler with shredder and conveyor belts that will be moved to Ede.
According to press notices, CVB was seeking to grow its size in the Netherlands.
The company has ten offices in the Netherlands, Belgium and England. Last year it sold more than 600,000 tons of recovered fiber, making it one of the largest paper recycling operations in Europe.
