Kadant Black Clawson Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., has announced that it has recently received orders for papermaking equipment from two Chinese-based companies. The first company, Anhui Shanying Paper Co. Ltd., ordered equipment components in a new production line. The order includes an Ultra-V pressure screen, a Float Purger stock cleaning system, XTREME reverse cleaners, XX-Clone through-flow cleaners and a flotation clarifier.
The Kadant Black Clawson equipment will be installed in a new 250-tons-per-day production line that the mill is adding to increase capacity. The new line will process old corrugated containers to produce corrugated medium.
Installation and start-up are scheduled for the second quarter of next year.
Kadant Black Clawson also announced that it has received an order from Gold Hua Sheng Paper for a new screening system. The order consists of seven Aikawa model screens and represents a significant order under Kadant Black Clawson's exclusive agreement to sell Aikawa Iron Works Co. Ltd. products in China.
The new screening system will process secondary fiber to supply stock to two paper machines being installed at the mill. The additional machines will increase the mill's capacity to 280 tons per day of coated paper and 187 tons per day of NCR paper. The new equipment is scheduled for installation and start-up next year.
