PalWeb Consolidates Operations

Company also announces it is expanding its recycled plastics grinding operations.

PalWeb Corp. will relocate its Dallas, Texas plastic pallet manufacturing equipment to the newly acquired production facility in Bettendorf, Iowa to increase productivity and lower costs.

The company also announced that it has increased the recycled plastic grinding capacity significantly in both the Iowa and Texas plants.

Warren F. Kruger, president of PalWeb, feels that the move can save the company between $300,000-$400,000 per year. The company expects to complete the relocation by this coming January.

The company also plans to maintain the expanded grinding operation in Dallas to take advantage of the region's large supply of plastic for recycling. Kruger continued, "As the demand for our plastic pallets in the beverage, export and pharmaceutical sectors continues to grow, we must maintain a steady supply of resin. The abundance of recycled plastic in Dallas coupled with the increased recycled plastic grinding capacity in both locations should enable us to continue a competitive pricing structure for our customer-base."
