Palm Recycling Prepares for RWM Exhibition

U.K. paper recycler says it will emphasize material quality and collection strategies.

Palm Recycling, based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, United Kingdom, will exhibit for the second year at the RWM Exhibition, scheduled for Sept. 11-13, in Birmingham, U.K.

In a news release, Palm Recycling says it will promote its services at Stand 19Q39 at the show. The company handles the procurement of recovered paper feedstock for Palm Paper Ltd., based in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, U.K. It operates and manages a range of collection and purchase contracts serving local authorities and commercial customers throughout the U.K.

At the show, added emphasis will be placed on the importance of material quality Palm is delivering through its ongoing investment in transfer and sorting infrastructure, says the company. Palm Recycling’s team will be on hand to explain and demonstrate how separating technologies, in particular where fiber and mixed container materials are collected separately, can deliver high-quality materials while also meeting budgetary and demographic demands, says Palm.

“It’s always a topic of debate over what collection methods deliver the best quality,” says Mandy Kelly, business development director for Palm Recycling. “What we’re trying to get across at this year’s RWM show is that whatever the collection method which meets the needs of both the local authorities and communities, the quality of recycled material must be maximized in order to achieve end user specifications.”

Palm Recycling also will be using the show to highlight what it calls a number of successful commercial and press room contracts it is servicing and how its approach to recycling solutions is delivering sustainable, economic and quality benefits for its customers.
