Pal Packaging, a leading vertically integrated manufacturer and distributor of food packaging and food service products, is incorporating mechanically recycled Styrolution PS Eco, a 100-percent-recycled polystyrene, in its new food packaging solutions.
Pal Packaging is a division of Greece-based Palamidis SA. After successful trials with the new recycled material provided by Ineos Styrolution, the company was impressed with the ease of processing and the quality of the final product, according to a news release issued jointly by both companies.
Konstantinos Roumpos, quality and R&D manager at Palamidis, says, “Ineos Styrolution made it a seamless transition for us to offer our customers a sustainable packaging solution. We are eager to go ahead with sustainable packaging solutions starting with poultry and mushroom packaging.”
