Plans for a three-story car shredder near a West End Billings neighborhood were scrapped by Yellowstone County, Mt., commissioners at a meeting June 28.
The $10 million project, including a shredder and 16-acre recycling yard proposed by Pacific Steel & Recycling, just didn’t match up with nearby properties, including ZooMontana and a residential subdivision, commissioners concluded.
