Pa. Candidate Swann to Speak at ISRI Function

ISRI Nickel Stainless Roundtable will also feature ELG President Simon Merrills.

The Pittsburgh Chapter of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI) has invited Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Lynn Swann to its Nickel Stainless Roundtable on September 21.

 

Swann, a former National Football League player, is running as the Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania.

 

He will be joined on the speaker roster by Simon Merrills, President and CEO of stainless scrap recycler ELG Metals Inc., McKeesport, Pa.; Derek Benham, President of specialty metals trader BenMet NY, New York; Jean Michel Beyasserie, President of nickel producer Eramet North America, Coraopolis, Pa.; and Jack Drage, President of specialty alloys ingot maker Remelt Sources Inc., Cleveland.

 

The event is taking place from 11:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel near the Pittsburgh Airport.

 

Later that evening, the ISRI Pittsburgh Chapter is also hosting its Consumers’ Night at the Hyatt Regency. The evening event will feature remarks from Tom Danjczek, President of the Steel Manufacturers Association, as well as cocktails and dinner.
