Orion
Orion Waste Solutions, Bethel Heights, Arizona, has deployed a new fleet of fully automated collection trucks in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, as part of a recently awarded seven-year recycling contract.
According to Orion, these trucks are specifically designed to decrease litter that often escapes during servicing in high wind environments.
“Thanks to special features of the New Way built sideload body, litter is almost nonexistent,” says Jeff Patton, Orion’s general manager for Wisconsin. “As well, the new trucks are cleaner, quieter and more efficient.”
“We sincerely appreciate Orion’s investment, planning and execution to get this new fleet on the road without any customer service interruptions,” says Brian Van Straten, director of Outagamie County Recycling & Solid Waste department. “It’s not an easy task to service more than 66,000 residents in a mostly rural environment, but Orion makes it look easy.”
