The DEQ is seeking renew the existing solid waste transfer station permit for 10 years. The company’s existing permit expired July 31, 2005.
In addition to taking in solid waste from the public, the facility also receives source separated recyclables, which it consolidates and ships to another location for further processing.
The facility is in compliance with its existing permit, and has had no recorded complaints or permit-related problems.
