The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is seeking comments from the public on a draft solid waste transfer station permit for Columbia Environmental LLC in Portland, Ore.
The company is seeking to operate a transfer station that will take in both recyclable and non recyclable materials.
According to the DEQ, the owner of Columbia Environmental also owns Oregon Recycling Systems, which collects and processes recyclables from the general area.
