The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is seeking comments on a proposed renewal of a solid waste transfer station permit for a transfer station in Toledo, Ore.
Dahl and Dahl Inc., Toledo, is seeking to have its existing solid waste transfer station permit renewed for 10 years. The facility receives solid waste from commercial waste haulers, as well as from the public for consolidation and transfer to a disposal facility. The facility also takes in source separated recyclables for recovery and recycling purposes.
According to the DEQ the facility is in compliance with its existing permit and has no recorded complaints or permit-related problems.
Written comments are due by April 29th. The state agency accepts comments by mail, fax and e-mail.
