Luma was most recently president of Wabash Alloys, Wabash, Ind., where he had also served as a vice president and plant manager. He began his career as a laborer with Vulcan Materials, later becoming a foreman and plant superintendent with that company.

The Superior Aluminum Alloys facility in New Haven, Ind., was constructed in the late 1990s. The facility processes aluminum scrap in three reverberatory furnaces capable of holding nearly 600,000 pounds of specialty alloy.
The company’s 100 employees produce aluminum ingot, sows and molten aluminum.
