Due to strong growth for its line of products Omaha Standard Palfinger (OSP), Council Bluffs, Iowa, has announced it has added two members to its staff. The company has named David Cheleen to the newly established role of account specialist—Western Region. He will be located at the company’s OSP facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and will be primarily responsible for both inside sales activities and external regional management of specific accounts.
“With the rapid growth of OSP, we are pleased to have someone with David's background to assist our inside and external sales activities,” Mike Redding, Palfinger customer support manager, says. “His experience will certainly assist us in aligning our strategies and organization to meet the needs of our end-user customer.”
OSP also announced the appointment of Phil Justice as operations manager. Justice will be involved in quality management, staff training, project management and the continuous improvement of the daily operations at OSP.
OSP, established in 1926, is a manufacturer of service/utility bodies, platform bodies, hydraulic hoists, hydraulic lift gates and other equipment for commercial trucks. The company was acquired by the Austrian company Palfinger in 2008.
