Omaha Paper Stock held a grand opening for a new paper stock plant the beginning of this month. The new facility is 40,000 square feet, and will allow the company to totally enclose all of the business’s operations, including bales of material that already have been processed.
The new plant has a baler and shredding operations, along with a rail siding and 11 truck bays. The size and design of the facility will allow the company to handle all grades of recovered fiber.
Additionally, the company has included more sophisticated fire prevention designs. According to local press reports the building has a firewall to protection the offices. Additionally, sprinklers are located throughout the building.
The company has four full service recycling facilities and more than 100 employees.
