Olympic Steel Inc. has promoted Dan Springer to the position of General Manager for the company's Iowa division. Springer joined Olympic Steel in 1987, and he has held both division and corporate management positions in operations, production and inventory control. His most recent appointment was as operations manager for the company's Winder, Ga., facility.
"We are pleased to announce Mr. Springer's promotion to General Manager. We are confident that his business experience and vision will align with Olympic Steel's strategy for continued growth," says David Wolfort, Olympic Steel’s president.
