Ohio Gov. Bob Taft has named a Dayton, Ohio, construction company official to a new six-member committee to set up guidelines regarding disposal of construction and demolition debris, according to a report in the Dayton Business Journal (Dayton, Ohio).
Steven Bowser, president and general manager of Dayton-based Bowser-Morner Inc., will serve on the Construction and Demolition Debris Facility Study Committee until Sept. 30, when the committee's work is scheduled to be complete.
Taft created the committee through a provision in June’s state budget. The committee will study Ohio's laws governing C&D debris facilities and make recommendations to the General Assembly on potential changes, according to the report.
