OBC Baling Equipment, Cleveland, Ohio, and JMC Recycling, Nottingham, England, have announced an exclusive distribution arrangement in the North American market for McIntyre’s alligator shears product line. In a release, OBC says that it is positioned to aggressively integrate McIntyre into their diversified offering.
With the addition of McIntyre alligator shears, OBC says that it can ensure that every operation is prescribed the right equipment for the company’s needs, from processing to baling to distribution. “We are very excited about our expanded relationship with JMC,” says Mike McChrystal, president and owner of OBC. “We are quite familiar with the quality and performance of McIntyre shears, and appreciate the added value this opportunity brings to the OBC brand. Our team looks forward to serving the North American market on behalf of JMC.”
JMC says it is the only manufacturer of genuine McIntyre alligator shears. Originally designed to withstand the rigors of scrap yard use, McIntyre shears are suitable for any industrial application, and perform particularly well in metal recycling operations. The shears are available with blade lengths from 150mm to 900 mm, and powered by either electric or diesel engines. All McIntyre shears can be modified or custom built to suit any specific need. A solenoid hydraulic option is also available.
