The New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse and Recycling (NYSAR3) has announced a grant program to provide beverage container collection bins to improve public space recycling in New York State.
The grant is funded as part of an Environmental Benefit Project and offered through a partnership between NYSAR3 and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
The grant will provide beverage container collection bins to various youth and community organizations with facilities that are open for public use throughout New York. The collection bins are intended for the collection of both deposit and non-deposit containers.

Recipients of grant awards are expected to be announced on Earth Day, April 22, 2009.
