NYMET Holdings Inc., a metals recycling and mining company, has announced that it has executed a joint venture agreement with Proinvest Consultants International for the demolition and recovery of a sugar mill in Louisiana.
In a release announcing the establishment of the JV, NYMET notes that the project is estimated to have about 8,000 metric tons of scrap metal. NYMET adds that it expects the project to be concluded within eight weeks.
Ken Strassfield, NYMET’s director of sales, says, “I am very pleased with the joint venture that we have finalized. We have several upcoming projects that will generate significant sales to our scrap metal division.”
