NY Plastics Recycler Honored by SBA

Adirondack Plastic & Recycling awarded for entrepreneurial growth.

Adirondack Plastic & Recycling, Argyle, N.Y., has received an Excellence Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the New York Business Development Corp.

 

The company was nominated by Glens Falls National Bank and was one of 26 small businesses honored at a ceremony that took place near Albany, N.Y.

 

Adirondack Plastics was established in 1991 and is owned by John D. Aspland. The company brokers, processes and sells post-industrial plastic and paper to customers located throughout the world. Additionally, Adirondack is a joint venture party with Georgia-Pacific in some of its paper recycling efforts, according to the SBA.
