Daniel DiMicco, chairman, president and CEO of Nucor Corp., Charlotte, N.C., has been reappointed to serve on the United States Manufacturing Council. DiMicco has served on this board for the past two years.
The board serves as a liaison between the federal government and the country's manufacturing sector.
The Manufacturing Council is comprised of 24 leaders of the domestic manufacturing sector representing a cross section of U.S. industry. Topics covered by the council include competitiveness and government policies and programs that affect U.S. manufacturers.
