Nucor Corp. has acquired Itec Steel, Inc., and its wholly owned subsidiary, Steel Truss and Frame Corp. for $9 million. The acquired company has facilities in Texas and Georgia.
Itec specializes in the load bearing light gauge steel framing industry. Nucor’s acquisition of Itec will allow Nucor to enter into this market.
