Friedman Industries Inc. has executed an agreement with Nucor Corp. pursuant to which Friedman will acquire all the hot-rolled excess prime, secondary and transition steel coils produced by Nucor at its Nucor Steel-Arkansas division. Friedman will form a coil products division named XSCP, to be located in Hickman, Ark., to manage this new operation.
