The National Recycling Coalition has released its program for its 23rd Annual Congress & Expo in San Francisco, August 28-September 1, 2004. This year’s program will include close to 40 educational sessions, including sessions on recycling at special events and large venues, e-scrap recycling, the impact of exports on recycling markets, the next generation in program design (including single stream), increasing container recycling.
Along with informative sessions, the Congress will have 20 tours of some of the top waste reduction and recycling programs throughout the Bay Area. Some of the tours on the agenda include visits to food and organics composting sites, deconstruction, plastics recycling, regional processing, creative reuse, business recycling, large venue recycling, and waste reduction programs in some of San Francisco's most interesting neighborhoods
