
Atlanta-based aluminum rolling and recycling company Novelis Inc. has appointed Greg Schlicht as executive vice president and president of Novelis North America. In this position, Novelis says Schlicht is responsible for all aspects of the company’s business in the North America region, which includes manufacturing and recycling facilities across the United States and Canada.
For the past 16 years, Schlicht has served in leadership positions for Novelis, with his most recent assignment as chief commercial officer and vice president of commercial at Novelis North America. In these roles he led all aspects of sales for the region. Before that, he spent four years leading sales for the company’s global beverage packaging accounts. He also has held leadership positions in the company’s strategy and sustainability and legal departments.

Novelis North America produces aluminum for customers in the beverage packaging, automotive and high-end specialties markets, which range from industrial products for the building and construction and transportation industries to food containers.
