Novelis Inc. has named Eric Drummond Chief People and Communications Officer.
Drummond will report directly to the president and COO, Novelis Inc., and will be a member of both the Executive Committee and the Executive Human Resources Committee. He will also be responsible for the Corporate Communications function.

"He will lead the formulation and implementation of the company's worldwide Human Resources objectives, policies and practices.
