Morbark, Winn, Mich., has signed an agreement with Nortrax Inc., a Morbark forestry and recycling dealer headquartered in Tampa, Fla., to expand its territory to include eastern New York state. The expansion adds 20 New York counties to Nortrax’s Northeastern territory of Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire.
Nortrax has been a Morbark dealer for more than 20 years. According to Morbark, the expansion of the Nortrax-Morbark partnership into eastern new York state will benefit regional Morbark customers. “Nortrax has a well established, excellent reputation in both the forestry and recycling industries. They have developed strong relationships over the past two decades and are known for their ability to supply and meet the most demanding customer requirements,” Tom Mitchell, Morbark Northeast industrial sales manager, says.
Bud Iverson, Nortrax Northeast Morbark manager, adds, “We are very proud to have been given the opportunity to add eastern New York state to our area of responsibility. We look forward to meeting and working with new customers in the wood waste reduction and forest products industries as well as continuing to serve customers we’ve done business with in the past.”
Nortrax has 52 locations throughout the eastern and central regions of the United States and Canada.
