Northshore Manufacturing, Two Harbors, Minn., has added a new grapple, the Heavy Duty, Butt Tine Utility Grapple, to its line of attachments. In a press release, Northshore notes that the grapple is ideal for handling a wide variety of materials, including Jersey barriers, pipe, wood matting, railroad ties, logs, railroad rails, various tools, scrap automobiles and rock.

- Arm tips made from hardened, abrasion-resistant material.
- Oversized, hardened cylinder and arm pivot pins with replaceable bushings.
- High pressure cylinders with holding valves.
- Easily accessible, yet well protected grease zerks.
- Can be outfitted with an optional sand bucket attachment that is easy to attach and detach for handling sand, gravel and other small, loose material.
- Made in the United States
The grapple can be mounted to both truck-mounted material handlers as well as excavators.
